Madonna- Day 8- 31daysofWomen

“No matter who you are, no matter what you did, no matter where you’ve come from, you can always change, become a better version of yourself.” Madonna, American singer, songwriter, actress, and businesswoman.

I remember the first time I watched Madonna’s video “Like a Virgin”, I was mesmerized, and instantly, I became a fan. From that moment on, her music played regularly in my room, at every party I attended, I will follow her steps, copied her fashion style: crucifix earrings, rosaries as chains and thanks to her after so much begging I convinced my daddy to buy me a leather jacket! YESSSSSSSSSSSS! Thank you Madonna! Lol but I was not allowed to bleach my hair womp womp…

One of the many things I admire of Madonna is her bravery and the courage to constantly reinvent herself and not being afraid of people’s reaction, she really don’t care, she follows her instinct and whether is a hit or miss she goes for it.
Each one of her albums and music videos reveals a different Madonna. Her musical career has been a continuous experimentation with new musical ideas and new images and a constant quest for new heights of fame and acclaim.

Madonna has sold more than 300 million records worldwide and is recognized as the best-selling female recording artist of all time by Guinness World Records. According to the Recording Industry Association of America(RIAA), she is the best-selling female rock artist of the 20th century and the second best-selling female artist in the United States.

Throughout her career, Madonna has been involved in writing and producing most of her own music. She is the most influential recording artist of all time and she has changed the musical landscape by showing what a female artist can accomplish in the public eye. She is also a role model for businesswomen by achieving the kind of financial control that women had long fought for within the music industry and for generating over $1.2 billion in the first decade of her career.

Madonna is undoubtedly an icon and important woman in the history of pop culture by creating fashion, breaking taboos and provoking controversies and who works hard for what she wants.
