Wendy Angulo Productions is an organization whose goal is to support, encourage, and promote poetry and visual arts through collaborative events among both established and emerging artists. We are a full service management company that offers bookings, production, event marketing, sponsorship and promotional services to Spoken Word and Visual Artists. Our mission is to identify, develop and maximize opportunities for creative talent across all media platforms. By working in partnership with our clients we can provide creative support alongside strategic business understanding.

Wendy Angulo Productions is Curator and Sole Owner of “Canvas of Words”, an annual Art & Poetry Festival that unites both poets and visual artists thru showcasing the vitality of the arts, in the borough of Queens.

Wendy Angulo

Wendy Angulo is a New York City-born Latina, raised in Caracas, Venezuela. Armed with a zeal for reading and writing since the age of seven and a law degree from the Universidad Católica Andres Bello, she made the decision to move back to New York City in 1998 where she began her career as a paralegal.

Wendy, who strongly believes that “The only limitation we have is within ourselves” re-discovered her love for writing in the summer of 2011 when she attended a spoken word event in Queens, New York. It was through this event that she joined the New York City Latina Writers Group where she has been an active member since 2012 and was their Program Director until 2017. Wendy credits the NYCLWG workshops for helping her give life to her memoir which she is currently working on. She wants her story to inspire and motivate womyn everywhere who face a divorce, single parenting, and the countless other challenges of womynhood.
